World Environment Day takes place every year on 5 June. It is the United Nations’ flagship day for promoting worldwide awareness and action for the environment.
Over the years, it has grown to be one of the largest global platforms for public outreach, celebrated by millions of people in well over 100 countries.
Following our successful transition to ISO9001:2015, J-Flex hopes to achieve certification to ISO14001:2015 – the Environmental Management Systems Standard – later this year. The company is already involved in a number of recycling schemes designed to reduce waste and save the environment.
J-Flex is delighted to support this scheme, which makes regular donations to charities for each and every ink cartridge recycle. So far over £11,000 has been raised for Macmillan Cancer Support, The British Heart Foundation, and the RSPCA.
Paper recycling is one of the easiest and most common ways a workplace can help protect the environment. It’s also important (especially with recent data protection changes) that J-Flex has a paper recycling partner – Shred-It – it can trust.
In 2017, J-Flex is proud to have participated in Shred-It’s shredding and recycling program, saving 21 trees from destruction in the process.
