J-Flex announced retirement of long-serving leader, Les Shaw after 21 years!
It is with mixed emotions that J-Flex today announces the retirement of Les Shaw, a highly respected and valued member of the team, who steps down following 21 years of dedicated service.
Les joined J-Flex in 2004 and has since played a central role in the company’s operations. Over more than two decades, he has been instrumental in managing day-to-day activities, ensuring continuity, and supporting the success of the business. His depth of knowledge, calm leadership, and unwavering commitment have made him a cornerstone of the organisation.
Beyond his operational responsibilities, Les has been an outstanding ambassador for J-Flex. Representing the company across the UK and internationally, he has consistently demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and pride. His contributions have left a lasting impression not only within the company, but also among partners, customers, and colleagues worldwide.

As part of a carefully planned succession process, Chris Briscoe was appointed as Les’ successor in February 2025, with all day-to-day responsibilities transferring during that time, ensuring continuity across the Operations Department.
