Sam Kirk, Managing Director of J-Flex commented: “Through our robust supply chain we have received a large number of disposable face masks, and having ensured our valued team have more than adequate supplies, the unanimous decision was reached to distribute the remainder to our wonderful local organisations”.
Two such organisations are the Aurora Wellbeing Centre, which provides support to people affected by cancer and long term health conditions – and Bassetlaw Community and Voluntary Service (BCVS), who work to challenge deprivation, health inequalities and social exclusion through empowering local people to engage effectively in voluntary and community activity.
Debra Forbes of Aurora said: “BCVS is delighted to receive these supplies from J-Flex, we fully intend to distribute them into the community as appropriate, as we know there are gaps locally.”
